Clips for India

Join us, as we support the work of the Institute of Applied Dermatology in India.

Do you discard metal bandage clips like this?

Now we can put them to good use, helping people who really need them.

Clips for India

In Australia, many clinicians who work with wounds, oedema or in general practice, use crepe or compression bandages.

Most wouldn’t think twice about discarding those little metal clips into the sharps bin when they open a new bandage.

Did you know we can use these to help Lymphatic Filariasis patients in India who cannot afford any tape or clips to secure compression bandages which are essential to their care.

Lymphatic Filariasis is a neglected tropical disease that affects poor populations in developing countries. In India, an estimated 25 million people are affected by this debilitating disease, causing lifelong distress and often prevents them from working. This leads to additional burden on their families and community.

Through an established connection with the Institute of Applied Dermatology in India, Good Wound Care can hand deliver these clips to help continue the free Lymphatic Filariasis and Lymphoedema treatments for these underprivileged patients.

It’s easy to help:

What else can I do?
